The “În banca mea” (In My Desk) campaign, created together with the Romanian Angel Appeal, shines a light on an overlooked issue: how hard it is for teens to be truly heard by adults and to create a dialogue without feeling judged.
Communication Strategy. Copywriting. Art Direction. Photography. Video Production. Social Media. Web Design. Web Development.

For more than 30 years, Romanian Angel Appeal has been supporting vulnerable children and youth. In 2025, the foundation turned its attention to adolescent emotional well‑being.
The statistics are stark: 1 in 3 kids aged 11–15 feels unhappy every day; bullying, depression, substance abuse and anxiety are on the rise.
Beyond the numbers, teens feel unheard: at home, parents downplay their problems, while at school, teachers focus on grades and lack tools for handling emotions.
The joint challenge for us and Romanian Angel Appeal was to craft a fundraising campaign that didn’t portray youth as victims but highlighted that they are resilient individuals who need support.
The core insight required a shift in perspective: listening isn’t just staying quiet while a teen speaks. It’s about stepping into their seat, seeing reality through their eyes, and validating their emotions.
The website was designed to present the campaign manifesto and invite visitors to donate to the cause and fund teacher and parent training. The design is inspired by students’ notebooks, full of sketches, paper and blackboard textures. A clear structure and call‑to‑action guide the user intuitively, while a resources section offers psycho‑educational materials for parents, teachers and youth.

To amplify the message, we created digital banners and social media posts. We embedded the tagline “Take a seat at their desk” on illustrations of desks covered in emotional doodles: shame, loneliness and addiction. The social campaigns drove traffic to the landing page and encouraged the public to support the initiative via SMS.
“În banca mea” is more than a campaign, it’s the collaboration that proved that a powerful message delivered through an honest story and memorable design can spark real conversations.
This project reminds us that real change begins when we take a seat at the student’s desk, ready to hear and understand.
